National Family Mediation works in partnership with other charities, health and education practitioners, employers, research centres, local and national government departments to make the greatest impact we can.
National Family Mediation is a founding member of the Family Mediation Council.
The Family Mediation Council was established in October 2007 and works for greater public awareness of and access to family mediation. The Family Mediation Council acts as a common platform for family mediation's national organisations to negotiate with government and other interests. It also works to ensure that information regarding mediation is collated and made more readily available. The Family Mediation Council's members are the national family mediation organisations in England and Wales, all of which ensure their family mediators work to agreed minimum professional and training standards.
