Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Board as a Trustee!
National Family Mediation (NFM) is on the lookout for a dynamic and committed individual to join our esteemed board of […]
Family mediation is quicker, more cost-effective and less stressful than heading to court for your separation or divorce. It gives you control, reduces conflict and helps you to turn your arguments into agreements – ensuring your family stays in control of arrangements over children, property and finance.
Family mediation can also help in the years following your separation or divorce. The agreements you made when you first separated may no longer work for you as your circumstances change. Family mediation can help you to agree new arrangements that work for your new circumstances.
Established in 1982, National Family Mediation is the original provider of family mediation services. Our network of family mediation services, each of which is a not-for-profit provider, delivers family mediation in over 500 locations across England and Wales, delivering some 16,000 mediation sessions each year.
Exclusive to National Family Mediation, NFM LegalEyes, allows you to access high-quality legal advice and legal services at an affordable cost, without compromising on the quality or fairness of your outcomes.
Using NFM LegalEyes prevents costs from spiralling out of control and keeps the legal process smooth and cooperative, whilst ensuring your agreements are fair and legally sound.
As well as dealing with the emotional impact of divorce or separation, there are also a host of practical issues to think about and decisions to make such as, how do we end it, and what do we do about the kids, the money and the family home?
In our guide to divorce and separation, you’ll find insights, advice and some practical steps needed to handle both the legal and emotional aspects of divorce or separation. You can also sign up to receive additional advice, tips and practical tools, designed to support you in managing these challenges and moving forward.
